Our client a market leader in the engineering world is looking for an IT Support Technician to provide 1st – 2nd Line support.
The successful candidate will be supporting, maintaining and updating the IT infrastructure and Ms Office (word, excel, outlook etc) applications. The role will involve logging helpdesk calls via their help desk software. Diagnosing 1st / 2nd line support issues via telephone using remote access and in person, referring 3rd line support when necessary.
Ideally you will have 2 years + experience working as a support technician and have a broad understanding of infrastructure, ranging from desktop, server to basic networking knowledge. A solid understanding of Windows Operating System / Microsoft products, AD is required.
You will have excellent communication skills with a professional manner and hold a full clean driving license, as some travel will be required.
