Datacentre Support Engineer – L/3 Contract

Role:                    Datacentre Support Engineer – L/3

Location:            Edinburgh

Duration:            5 Months

Rate:                    Market Rates (Inside IR35)

We have a 5-month project for a Datacentre Support Engineer to provide L/3 support.

The Role:

  • Provide L/3 hardware break fix to HPE X86 estate
  • Provide full IMAC service (install/Decom/Moves) across the Datacentre leveraging tools such as Part surfer, Intelligent provisioning, CMDB, ServiceNow.
  • Provide a smart hands service to the client s IT security team, across all their Datacentre located kit. This will include troubleshooting up to replacing the entire unit through a RMA process, then installing and providing base configuration for the replacement device.
  • Provide Tape Management (Ejects/loads) for the remote backup team.

Skills:

  • Proven background providing L/3 hardware support within a Datacentre environment.
