The Ifftner training department has devised a three-month pre-induction programme and on-boarding process that is designed to allow new Consultants and Researchers to get off to a fast and productive start. This systematic training programme is focused on delivering outstanding business results and combines detailed real-world content with world-class training methodology.
The programme is split into 5 key areas: Induction, Research, Business Development, Team Leader and Strategic Selling and will be led by Tony Seager.
Designed for individuals either starting a career in recruitment or recruiters with experience in the industry who are joining our organisation. This section of the programme with provide a comprehensive introduction or refresher to recruitment: from developing your own recruitment brand identity and selling your services, winning clients and job orders, identifying and interviewing top performing candidates through to closing the deal.
Divided into digestible chunks for beginners and the more experienced resourcer, this section of the programme is designed to give researchers/resourcers all the tools necessary to identify, approach and head hunt top talent in the Tech industry. All recruitment companies are measured by the quality of candidates they submit and this course will provide delegates with the skills and tools required to present the very best of talent available.
Researchers will learn how to identify and approach high-calibre candidates in complete confidence and entice them to explore a solid career opportunity with their dedicated client.
The more experienced researcher who already understands the recruitment process will see their training kicked up a notch. Delegates will learn to understand psychology and the way people make decisions, the importance of communicating intent and context, using analogy and metaphor and how to deal with uncertainty and lack of information. Researchers will also learn the relationship model and various interview techniques (structures, STAR, competency based interviewing) to effectively qualify potential candidates.
This course will be a combination of practical systems and proven processes that work and get results, offering a comprehensive and detailed induction into the theory and practice of business development drawing on the very latest academic research as well as real world example of recruitment best practice. This part of the programme focuses on three main components that underpin business development: strategic analysis, marketing and sales offering practical strategies to exploit new business opportunities to bring in revenue.
New hires will learn how to differentiate and understand the logical and emotional objections and will practice techniques to overcome them.
This section is aimed to further develop the consultant’s skills to improve operational effectiveness and achieve personal and business goals in recruitment. The consultant will learn how to manage poor performance to ensure mutually beneficial and negotiated outcome which facilitates individuals to achieve their potential. You will also learn how to set clear goals and incentives to achieve best results possible within the team.
By the end of this segment, new hires will understand the concepts of the indicators that should be monitored (KPIs) and be able to develop and conduct professional and focused meetings, manage conflict and discipline. It will highlight the value of seeing how people, jobs, careers and performance fit together.
This segment will equip consultants to evaluate their competitive position, address the business and personal motives of each decision maker in the client company, and differentiate IF by leveraging its unique strengths. Strategic selling helps organisations develop comprehensive strategies to win sales opportunities, delivering a selling process and action plan to successfully sell solutions.
The key to success if learning how to focus time and energy on those opportunities most likely to become profitable, long-term customers.
Recruitment is a fast paced, competitive and exciting sales environment; and will require you to deal with the end-to-end recruitment process. You will be responsible for working with clients on developing their job requirements, finding the best talent to fit positions and ultimately placing them. You will also be responsible for offering a bespoke follow-up service to build long lasting relationships with both candidates and clients alike. It can be tough; long hours will often be required but hard work will always be rewarded.
