Role:                      Citrix VDI Engineer

Length:                 16 Days – Start 20th March

Location:              Bristol

Rates:                   Market Rates (Inside IR35)

Responsibilities:

  • Create 10x Virtual Machine from Microsoft Windows Servers 2019 or 2022 VM Template (2x File Server, 2x SQL, 2x Delivery Controller, 2x Storefront & 2x Director)
  • Install Microsoft SQL 2019 – SQL environment to be Highly Available (HA).
  • Install Citrix Delivery Controller, Storefront & Director. Note all applications will be installed HA.
  • Create Windows 10 Gold Image
  • Install Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat (version to be agreed during design workshop)
  • Run Citrix Optimizer on Gold Image
  • Create Machine Catalogues (MCS) and Delivery Groups
  • Create Microsoft Windows Server File Cluster
  • Setup Profile Management based on a combination of Folder Redirection and Fslogix
  • Install 2x Citrix ADC (NetScaler) in HA mode.
  • Load Balance Storefront
  • Setup Citrix Gateway
  • Complete System Acceptance Testing
  • Migrate up to 5x users as part of initial pilot / testing.
  • Knowledge Transfer

Skills Required:

  • CITRIX VDi.
  • Active Directory
  • Gold Image.
  • Netscaler.
  • Facilitate Workshop.
  • Design creation, Implementation, and configuration.
  • System testing.

All candidates must hold or be willing to undergo SC Clearance.
