Role: Network Security Support Engineer / Administrator

Our client has a long-term project for 3 x Network Security Support Engineers
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining, supporting, developing and in some cases, designing fully integrated security networks (Firewalls/Web and Email Filters ) within and/or between organisations.
Ensures the integrity of high availability network infrastructures to provide maximum performance for their users.
Troubleshoots technical issues to resolve connectivity/ performance issues.
Responsible for the installation of/or upgrade of software/firmware and hardware.
Skills Required
Experience in all aspects of Unified Communications best practices, hardware and operating systems.
Experience in network voice architectures, network protocols, wired and wireless technologies necessary.
Experience with supporting any of the following products: Fortinet / Palo Alto / Checkpoint / Cisco, or equivalent.
Experience in the management and configuration of firewalls, intrusion prevention and detection principles including the ability to maintain IPS and IDS solution.
Experience of managing endpoint solution including ATP, EDR, XDR and webmail services.
Experience optimizing current security solutions and
Experience in integrating multiple security solutions and maintaining VPN and secure email services
Responsible for the installation of/or upgrade of software/firmware and hardware related to security
CISSP or CISM or equivalent certification is desirable.
