Data Engineer Contract

Role:                    Data Engineer

Length:                6 Months

Location:            London – hybrid

Rate:                    £536 per day (Inside IR35)

The Role:

Strong Data Engineer with extensive experience in Data warehousing / ETL with working experience on DBT who can design and develop the data transformations for Group data consolidation platform built on Google Cloud.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, analyze, data ingestion, transformation & storage layers (RAW, Exploratory, Curated .application …)
  • Understand and provide inputs for STT documents.
  • Design and develop the data transformations using DBT tool.
  • Perform UT and validate the transformations.
  • Deploy code using CICD pipelines built.

Skills Required:

  • Extensive ETL and Data warehousing experience
  • Strong experience in DBT
  • Google Cloud Services and BigQuery

 

Nice to have:

  • Financial Domain Knowledge – Asset Management
  • Programming Skills – Python or PySpark
