It’s been a busy week here at IF Recruitment. Wednesday saw
the Innovation Martlesham 2019 Careers Fair, a fantastic day for IT and
business professionals in the local area to meet many of the dozens of
companies based on the Adastral Park campus. As an active member of the
Adastral campus community, we at IF jumped at the opportunity to get to know
some of the amazingly talented individuals living and working in Suffolk.
The event was a resounding success, with over a thousand
people attending. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone that stopped by our
stand and not only are we looking forward to assisting the IT professionals we
met, but we are also delighted to be helping the Students (who will be the
professionals of tomorrow) with planning their future careers.
It was refreshing to see that, no matter which stage of
their professional journey, all were excited at the prospect of becoming part
of the Adastral community and the ground breaking innovative work carried out
here every day.
It’s quite clear that the event was a huge success for everybody involved. We at IF started new relationships with dozens of amazing individuals, had the opportunity to get to know some of our neighbours better, and of course were reminded once again just how much of a privilege it is to be based in one of the most important locations in the UK technology industry. If the 2019 event was anything to go, the 2020 jobs@adastral will be even larger. We look forward to seeing you there!
